Director of Standards & Publications
The Director of Standards & Publications is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of BICSI's Publications and International Standards Program. Reporting to the Vice President of Standards & Publications, this position oversees the development of technical manuals, standards, and related products, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards. The Director supervises a team of managers, editors, and designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment that supports the organization's strategic objectives. This role represents BICSI in industry engagements, builds relationships with key stakeholders, and aligns departmental initiatives with the organization's mission and vision.
The Director plays a critical role in enhancing BICSI's reputation and expanding its influence within the ICT industry. By overseeing program operations, managing budgets, and driving innovation, the Director ensures that BICSI remains at the forefront of technical excellence and thought leadership. This position requires a commitment to fostering collaboration across departments and maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism in all program activities.
Manager of Standards & Publications Operations
The Manager of Standards & Publications Operations supports the Director in overseeing the daily functions of BICSI's Publications and International Standards Program. This position manages the operations of standards and publications volunteer groups, administers essential policies and processes, and ensures the successful execution of program activities in alignment with BICSI's strategic goals. The Manager also plays a key role in compliance, supporting ANSI audits, and ensuring adherence to legal and accreditation requirements.
Under the direction of the Director, the Manager collaborates across departments to enhance the reach and impact of BICSI's offerings. This role contributes to program growth and operational efficiency by managing timelines, improving processes, and supporting volunteer activities. The Manager's work directly supports BICSI's mission of advancing the ICT profession through technical excellence and industry leadership.
Content Marketing Specialist

The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating, editing, and managing content across BICSI's digital and print platforms to enhance the organization's visibility and engagement. This role develops compelling, accurate, and audience-focused materials, including website content, marketing collateral, newsletters, and social media posts. The Content Specialist ensures that all content aligns with BICSI's brand guidelines and supports the organization's strategic objectives. Working collaboratively with internal departments and stakeholders, the Content Specialist plays a critical role in delivering consistent and impactful messaging. By leveraging best practices in content strategy and digital communication, this position enhances BICSI's outreach efforts and contributes to advancing its mission to support the ICT profession.
Vice President of Standards & Publications
As the leading global authority in ICT, BICSI's position of Vice President of Standards & Publications will provide strategic leadership to align its publications and ANSI-accredited international standards program with the association's mission, while ensuring strict compliance with accredited standards development requirements. Specifically, the VP is responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance, and dissemination of BICSI's international ICT design, installation, and project management accredited standards, as well as leading practice publications. The incumbent will drive key initiatives, foster innovation, and oversee long-term strategies to enhance department performance. She/he will lead and develop the department staff, manage financial stewardship, and ensure operational excellence. This leader will ensure that BICSI's standards and publications not only meet and exceed the needs of the ICT profession but will also set a global benchmark for excellence and innovation.
This newly created position will elevate and support the association's standards and publications, one of the three core strategic priorities. The Vice President of Standards & Publications will report directly to the chief executive officer and serve on the senior leadership team.
This position is based in Tampa, Florida. The incumbent must reside or relocate within commuting distance to the Tampa area.
