If your recertification date is approaching and you need more CECs, here are some free and low-cost options for you!
Requirements for CEC Eligibility
- Activities need to increase your knowledge in the field of ICT.
- Activities must be completed during your certification cycle.
- Activities must be at least 1 full hour in length.
- Proof of attendance is required.

Individual Applications and/or Individual Certificates for Pre-Recognized Courses
Submit CECs online or via an Individual CEC Application (PDF)—If you are a BICSI credential holder.
Please indicate in the comments section if you are submitting CECs to be applied to a suspended credential.
Jump the line up to 14 days sooner than a non BICSI Member.
BICSI Credential Holders who are also BICSI Members receive priority CEC and Recertification processing.
How it works:
If you are a BICS Member, submit your CECs through your Credentialing Dashboard on the BICSI website. The Credentialing team will process member submissions in date order ahead of nonmembers.
Member processing guarantee is less than 14 business days.
Nonmember processing guarantee is less than 30 business days.
